What Happens Now 01/24/09

 

Everyone is asking “what is going to happen now that Obama is the President”?

 

 

One could justifiably say there is now a socialist in the White House, so why the ambiguity as to what might happen?  Even the pundits are questioning, is Obama a centrist or will he govern from the left?  Are they kidding?  His socialist agenda is easily predictable by those who merely listened to Obama during the campaign and weren’t enthralled by how he said it.  Case in point; Chris Mathews said “I got tingly feeling down my legs” when I listened to Obama.  Last time I experienced ‘tingly
feelings’ I got married!   So much for unbiased reporting from MSNBC.

 

Just for grins let’s analyze a few of the policies that were proposed as “change we can believe in’ by Obama and the Democratic Party.

 

 

I expect Obama will: Trash the current and acceptable “don’t ask don’t tell” policy and ignore our military commander’s objections.

 

The dire consequences: A mass exodus of our volunteer army resulting ironically in a Democratic call for the renewal of a mandatory draft.
Aside from the obvious reason that we need a draft in order to replace those who leave, consider the inevitable “sensitivity training” our military personal will be required to take so the homosexuals are accepted.  Forget about knowing battle field tactics……no time for that sort of nonsense.  First we need to be sure we all just get along!  So what is wrong with a mandatory draft?  Get ready for your daughters to
put on a uniform and deploy to the front lines.   Also, do you remember
the morale and military readiness during the Vietnam era with such a draft in place?  (If not, research John Kerry testifying in front of congress accusing our troops of acting like Genghis Khan).  Consider how our country treated our returning military heroes during that era.  You can be assured China and Russia will be watching our military readiness disintegrate.

 

 

I expect Obama will: Introduce blanket amnesty for illegal aliens.

 

The dire consequences: A weakened border policy will allow additional illegal aliens to enter the USA expanding the Democrats voting block.
The social net our parents rely upon (Medicare, Social Security, etc.) could become bankrupt. Local municipalities will become insolvent as citizens can no longer afford the inevitable state and/or local property tax increases to cover the mandatory services to an ever growing number of illegals.  Municipalities and states will be forced to beg for a monetary bailout from the federal government. Let’s face it; the Fed can’t keep printing money indefinitely, so eventually they will have to resort to other means to fund their policies. Congress could theoretically endeavor to access our 401k accounts. A money grab unprecedented in the history of mankind.  They will attempt to make this takeover palatable by offering the populace empty promises of greater long term security (remember the government is here to help you).  Once congress takes over of all the 401k assets they will undoubtedly return to their spending binge.  Those of you with healthy 401k balances will be considered rich in the eyes of our all knowing bureaucrats, and will never receive the full value of your retirement nest egg.  Your savings will be distributed to the disenfranchised in the name of fairness.  If you doubt it, listen to what the Obama Whitehouse says, “We all need to sacrifice more, it’s our patriotic duty.”

 

 

I expect Obama will: Attempt to completely socialize our medical industry.

 

The dire consequences: The loss of your right to choose a doctor or hospital.  Wait in line my friend as the doctors leave the field of medicine.  Perhaps new doctors coming up in the ranks will help?  Forget it!  The government will impose draconian price controls on medical procedures and income limits on doctors.  And don’t think you can cut to the head of the line by paying a doctor directly for his services.
Remember Hillary Care?  Well try that little trick and you both go to jail.  I know it’s hard to believe but that was in her plan and it is sure to be proposed again.  Since there simply will not be enough money to go around, the government will impose health care rationing.  So if you are old and considered non productive to society you go to the back of the line.  Hey what does it matter?  In the eyes of many in our society life is expendable.  Just ask the 50 million aborted babies.
Speaking about abortion, did you know the very profitable billion dollar Planned Parenthood organization is requesting a “bailout check”!  Don’t believe in Abortion?  Too bad, with socialized medicine your tax dollars will be paying for it.  (As I write this, Obama just announced the release of millions of US dollars to fund abortions internationally).

 

 

I expect Obama will: Nationalize many of our leading banks and corporations.

 

The dire consequences: A giant step towards a total and crippling financial meltdown. Before it’s all over the government will own the banks and many of our blue chip corporations.  They will demand stock in return for all the bail out money (our money).  Not just any stock will do however, they will require preferred stock.  The rest of us who own common stock will just have to hope the banks make lots of money again some day.  No dividends for us, that’s reserved for the government with their preferred stock shares.  In today’s environment it seems irrelevant the federal government is prohibited by the US Constitution
to own banks and business.  

 

 

I expect Obama will: Implement hate speech laws.

 

The dire consequences: As a payback to the GAY voting block, the new hate laws will ensure that socially irresponsible behavior and those who practice it enjoy greater legal protection then the majority. Perhaps most damaging to our BILL of RIGHTS is that this stealthy conceived effort will effectively muzzle Christian scripture.  It will be illegal for anyone to speak out against homosexuality.  Even though our country was founded on Christian beliefs, we along with our ministers will be forbidden to speak the word of the LORD regarding this issue.  In fact the bible will be reinterpreted to be accepting of this lifestyle.
Oprah Winfrey had a guest on recently (twice) who actually claims homosexuality is a gift from GOD.  Now that is a reinterpretation of the bible if I ever heard one! 

 

Be cognizant of the term Fairness Doctrine.  It will of course be masked as something less ominous but make no mistake, it is designed to silence the conservative voice. It is the lefts ultimate goal.  First we will witness censorship targeted towards the radio (Rush Limbaugh), second towards TV (FOXNEWS), and ultimately the Internet.  Yes the Internet.
China controls Internet discussions so it can be done here in America as well.  It is happening already. Consider the fact Google refused to post numerous anti Obama videos on YOUTUBE during the election.  I find that hypocritical as GOOGLE never considered it appropriate to protect BUSH from the vial posts from the far left socialists during his presidency.
I expect Obama will: Justify elevating the stature of American enemies such as Iran & Hamas to that of a legitimate political power for the purpose of restoring our relationship with the world, or more to the point, our enemies. This will be accomplished by abdicating American responsibility to the United Nations.

 

The dire consequences: The flood gates will be open for Muslim extremism and resulting terrorism to spread worldwide; especially into America.
The state department, (with Hillary Clintons blessing) will grant them privileges to conduct unimpeded international commerce by removing existing embargos.  The wildcard is Israel.  With effective constraints lifted and free trade implemented, Iran will move forward with all available resources to complete the development of a nuclear weapon.  So what will Israel do?  Israel has a world class military thanks to the USA.  Will Obama continue to support Israel, our key democratic alley in the Middle East?  If it becomes apparent the USA is turning our back on Israel, Iran will be given by default a green light to spread their Shea beliefs with our blessings.  It’s important to note China and Russia have numerous “trade” agreements worth billions in place with Iran.  We walk away from the Middle East and they will fill the vacuum unimpeded.

 

 

I expect Obama will: Relinquish, or at the very least diminish, any American responsibility in Europe.

 

The dire consequences: Putin exercises his new found and unchecked power throughout Europe with an eye towards reestablishing the old soviet empire.  NATO partners will realize America can not be counted on to help defend them against monetary and military aggression from Putin.
You must understand the left is uncomfortable with the USA as the sole super power.  They believe it’s in the world’s best interest for us to be “restrained” thereby inhibiting our ability to extend and defend our misguided philosophy of liberty and democracy around the world.
Protecting our NATO allies will be unjustifiable; however transferring American wealth abroad will be acceptable and appropriate. Hillary’s running the US State Department; its payback time to all those countries that paid Bill millions for a speaking engagement.  Salacious conversation pays big bucks you know, except maybe for Monica.

 

To really go out on a limb, I would venture to say Obama will pave the way for allowing the United Nations to establish and collect a world tax on international trade.  Something innocuous, perhaps a global transportation fee on international sea-lanes.  Add the term “carbon footprint” to its designation as that will make it sound like it’s for the good of mother earth.

 

China will be exempt of course, as they will once again be recognized as a developing country. Remember the Kyoto treaty, the international environmental treaty produced at the United Nations?  China was mostly exempt along with just about the entire world.  It seems like everyone but the United States and a few western countries were exempt.  Yes China, that developing country that manufactures every product found on our store shelves and owns our national debt.  The same occurrence will happen with the new world tax….the US will fork over 90% of the revenues funneled into the UN.  Talk about taxation without representation. 

 

 

I expect Obama will: Destroy our coal industry by mandating deplorable environmental regulations. In addition, he will place a moratorium on the recent congressional agreement to permit and expand offshore drilling.

 

The dire consequences: Maintaining and expanding our coal industry (our greatest readily available natural energy resource) will become cost prohibitive as a result of all the bureaucratic red tape, taxes and
levied fines.   Instead of using our own natural resources, billions of
our dollars will once again be transferred to oil rich countries that will manipulate our economy through the price of a barrel of oil.  All while contributing either openly or under the radar to our economic destruction while inflating our national debt.

 

 

I pray these destructive events never see the light of day.  Perhaps our neutered Republican representatives will discover a back bone and fight for our economic viability and personal freedoms.  I would propose however that if left unbridled, these freighting socialist policies will indeed become the law of the land.  It just wouldn’t be the land of the free we grew up in.
